Music Burrito is a music collective in Denver, Colorado. We write music made to be licensed for film, TV, ads, games and podcasts. Every member is hand-picked from inside the industry, and the collective puts each person’s talent up front. That was the idea from the start: make licensable music with people who are really good at it.
About the founders
Music Burrito was started by two best friends. We met and connected at the Durango Songwriters Expo years ago and have been family ever since. Each of us has more than 25 years in the music business, and we got here by different roads.
One ran through the major labels, with branding and artist development at Columbia, Epic and Legacy Records. The other started on the radio, where Hot AC airplay led to a publishing deal and to writing for the publisher’s briefs, the kind of work where the ask is specific and the clock is always running. Between us, the credits include music placed with Under Armour, 5-hour Energy, McDonald’s and The Home Depot, network TV placements, radio jingles, ads placed worldwide, voice-over work and more than 1,000 live shows. Music Burrito is where those roads meet.
